The RMS-100 converts measured true-RMS line voltage into a series of pulses, the pulse rate being proportional to the measured RMS voltage. These pulses can then be counted by existing pulse-counting devices. The RMS-100 allows accurate measurement of true RMS A/C line voltage using low-cost pulse counting equipment.
